The Vintage Chef
I don't think this will come as a surprise to anyone that knows me, not only do I get a kick out of working on observational documentaries, I am also really enthusiastic about food and wine. So, with the borders on lock-down for the global pandemic and local television production slowly recovering, I have been looking for opportunities to keep my video skills intact and my equipment working. With this in mind, I have been creating contact for two wineries, one in Marlborough and one in Central Otago. In this latest instalment, I was encouraged to construct a short story about Harry Diprinzio who applied for a job at Felton Road in the winery over vintage...and ended up working as their chef. If nothing else, perhaps this short clip will inspire other budding chefs to submit their C.Vs for the 2021 vintage. Perhaps I might even throw my own hat in the ring.
