2019 Harvest
Updated: Feb 12, 2020
A couple of days ago, while walking between rows of vines discussing some video options with a potential client, I thought back to the 2019 harvest. Not only is it one of my favourite times of the year, when there is a real buzz about the vineyards, but visually it is a great time to capture content.
Last year I spent time with the crew at Felton Road in the last few days of their harvest, but many of the images captured never found a home in the video product that I produced for them. So...with a bit of free time between contacts, I had a fresh look at the 'off-cuts' to see if I could cobble together a video that would showcase some of my favourite B-Roll footage with a coherent narrative. If nothing else, it was a good exercise in trying to segue together disparate footage from a multitude of different cameras without a voice over or text on screen.
**The video is at the bottom...but if you want a better viewing experience, click on the Vimeo logo and watch it there. For some reason the video doesn't play properly in full-screen from this blog**
