Awkward Interview
A couple of days ago, I tuned into Radio New Zealand to listen to Kim Hill interviewing Timothy Spall.

Not only was it an amusing and enlightening chat with one of my favourite actors, the topic of conversation at one point turned to director Mike Leigh and how he had given Kim Hill a hard time in a previous interview. Well, she isn't alone.
For many years I wrote about films and reviewed them for the Otago Daily Times and during this time I was also granted an interview with Mike Leigh...who certainly lived up to his cantankerous billing. After a quick search on-line, I found that the article was still available and brought back some awkward memories
